The Joy of Living

When we were very small, there used to be a TV serial called Shanti which we used to watch after coming back from school every day. The house where the whole story played out was called Shanti Mansion. Though I don't remember how it used to look, I do remember that it was a dream home of sorts. 

My mom is a big dreamer and always dreamed of a big house with a united family to live in. As the years progressed, she almost gave up on that dream in the rigmarole of life. This house is dedicated by me and my brother to her dreams. It's our Radha Mansion - that's our mom's name...

Ever since I was very small, I had a romance with books. With limited means, we used to get to choose an encyclopaedia of our choice on every birthday and it was an awaited gift. It used to cost 100/- and after a few years 200/-. Mom always was drowned in books and we wanted ours. Our uncle used to buy used comics and books for us from Delhi and send for us by the box. And we cherished our collection. We had a small room on the terrace where we had a wardrobe full of them. We used to arrange and rearrange them, and number them and label them and dote on them. One of my childhood dreams was to break into a bookshop at night and steal all the books in a truck. 

When I reached IIT, it was a ritual to go to old Delhi every Sunday morning and spend a few hours hunting for used books on the footpath market there. Books gave the same peace to me that forests gave to most others. Owning a well stocked library was a dream of many years. And it has finally come true.... 

One of our passions is helping people stay healthy using biochemic tissue salts. We believe there is immense good that can be done in the world with something so inexpensive and accessible as this. We will create a million cures with it and do a TED talk on it.

We will raise the hands of our dear friends to the Rocky music at the FED every single year. To increase the tribe of winners and overcomers who will help us make this world a better place to live in...

My dream is to create an extremely dense forest through which you can't even walk because it's so thick. The sundays filter through the tall trees and all kind of wildlife can thrive. There is a small cute cottage which is self sufficient along with staff who takes care of all our guests who want to spend a day or two there in complete solitude...
